If you are looking for a magical and evocative Christmas atmosphere, you can't miss the Christmas market in Canale di Tenno, in Garda Trentino. This small medieval village, a couple of km from Tenno, near Riva del Garda and 1 hour from Borgo Romantico Relais, is transformed during the Christmas holidays into a fairytale place.

The market involves all the streets and squares of the village, among faces, arches and stone houses decorated with Christmas lights and decorations. Here you can find a wide selection of handcrafted products, such as ceramics, jewellery, wooden objects and fabrics. There is, of course, no shortage of local gastronomic specialties, such as dumplings, strudel, mulled wine, honey and jams.

The Canale di Tenno Christmas market is open every weekend from 25 November to 17 December, from 9.30 to 18.00. Furthermore, on December 24th the traditional shepherds' procession takes place, which accompanies the Holy Family to the midnight mass.

How to get to Tenno
From Borgo Romantico, you can reach Tenno by car in about 1 hour. Take the SS12 to Riva del Garda, then take the SS452 towards Trento. At Ponte Arche, turn right for Tenno.

Once you arrive in Tenno, you can park your car in the free car park located in via del Mulino.
