The simple charm of a Country Wine Relais on Lake Garda

We love our territory, we love travel, art, music, encounters and we want to transmit this love with hospitality. It is from this philosophy that Borgo Romantico was born in 2019, our Country Wine Relais in Cavaion, on the hills of Garda Veronese. In the heart of a large Organically grown and 100% Green Energy estate.

Borgo Romantico is the result of the careful restoration of a rural residence of the early 1800s. It grew up in the heart of a large estate with vineyards, olive trees, cypress and maritime pine trees, with views of the Garda hills and Mount Baldo.

With a total of 24 rooms, 100% Green energy, it has a nice and large pool, a splendid porch where to enjoy breakfast or a glass of wine. The Wine bar, the lounge and a meeting room which are also a photo gallery. A tasting room and a well-equipped kitchen for any type of event. We don't have a restaurant but there are two very good ones, close and within walking distance.

The Bio Estate

The Borgo Romantico estate is located in the towns of Cavaion and Colà, and includes a large vineyard area, where the grapes for Bardolino and Chiaretto Doc are grown, and for some quality Igt. Over 270 olive trees also give an excellent extra virgin Olive Oil. The wines bear the “Le Tende” brand, taken from the locality where the processing cellar and the other vineyards are located, in Colà di Lazise.

For many years now, we have chosen the Organic method, because it is more respectful of the territory and the consumer.

Sustainability

We have chosen for energy and environmental sustainability, equipping ourselves with 100% Green energy, photovoltaic system, heat pump, LED lights and home automation. Useing recycled paper and dispensers in the bathrooms and at the buffet; limiting plastic and choosing to grow Organically.

To limit the use of water and detergents, towels in the room are changed every 3 days, or at each guest change. In the pool, our bath towels are on sale at the special cost of €4.00.

Whoever arrives at our Country Wine Relais in Cavaion, and walks among the vines and olive trees, immediately breathes in a special atmosphere, which is enchanting. But “Romantico” is not only this: for us, it means we can be your guide, pour you a glass of wine, allow you to listen to good music, transmit our experience and share all that we love with you.

Borgo Romantico wants to be a place of hospitality, relaxation and genuine beauty. To keep the promised atmosphere, we also need your help; for example, not leaving the children alone, avoiding noisy activities, limiting the use of water energy and waste. Thanks for your understanding.
